ABSTRACT : Public health is directly or indirectly affected by the food supply. Food safety is a public health issue which has become a global problem. Since food is necessary for human survival, a food safety crisis can cause widespread social panic and heavy casualties. Food safety has been a major concern for governments,the food service industry, and academia. This paper provides an introduction to food safety.

This study has compared the diagnostic information of lower limb bilateral force asymmetry by the impulse variable at different vertical jumps techniques. Twenty-nine soccer players carried out six attempts at each of the vertical jumps, countermovement jump and squat jump, on two synchronized force platforms. After the calculation of the symmetry index, the athletes were classified as symmetric and asymmetric respecting a cut-off value of 15%, McNamara’s test compared the diagnostic information among the techniques. Significant differences were found among the diagnostic information of the different techniques (p<0.05). It is thus concluded that different vertical jump techniques provide different information in regard to the level of bilateral force asymmetry in soccer players.

It is found that so many wastes which can be used in traditional concrete like e-wastes, rubber tyre waste, glass waste etc. The coconut shell is also a main waste which can be used in traditional concrete. Generally, coconut shells are used in traditional concrete in the form of viz., coconut shell aggregate and coconut shell fiber. This paper describes coconut shells are used as replacement of coarse aggregates. The compressive and flexural strength test where taken on 10%, 20% and 30% replacement of coarse aggregate to coconut shells. It is observed that the compressive strength of concrete is reduced in some extent and the flexural strength also reduced as replacement of coconut shell is increased, but the 10% replacement is possible to use in construction work and 20% and 30% replacement are possible to use for less important construction work under some conditions. It is found that, workability of concrete is increased than traditional concrete as percentage replacement is increased. Total cost of concrete is get reduced by replacement of coarse aggregate to coconut shells. The volume of concrete is also increased as replacement is increased, hence, the total quantity of concrete required is getting reduced and the cost is again getting reduced. This paper supports the “SWACHHA BHARAT ABHIYAN” carried by our Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Finally, this paper concluded that, the Coconut Shell is possible to use for construction work as coarse aggregate under some conditions economically. It is majorly used for construction of small huts, watchman cabin, farm house in forest areas and small houses etc.

Recognition that past research on domestic violence largely concentrated on urban areas has helped to generate a body of work focusing specifically on the rural. This work has begun to identify important characteristics of the experience of intimate partner violence in rural communities and, in particular, to draw attention to the problems of resourcing and delivering services in support of families and individuals living with and escaping violence. A key direction of research has been the interrogation of rates of domestic violence in the comparison of urban, suburban and rural areas. Some studies have extended this comparative approach in highlighting the prevalence of different forms of violence across types of community. This focus on the rural has been a welcomed response to academic criticisms of the lack of work on the rationality of space and violence and to associated calls by geographers to foreground the centrality of space in work on both the experience and conceptualization of violence. Three remote villages of Bank district of western Nepal has been selected for the household survey at 90 households. In addition to that, KII and FGD as well as interactive interview with the local stake holders have also been conducted. Main finding of this research is women in the rural and remote areas are more likely than women in urban areas to experience domestic and family violence. Similarly, women living in the rural and remote areas who experience domestic and family violence face specific issues related to their geographical location and the cultural and social characteristics of living in small communities.

Mobility of the city is very important for livable cities. General impression of the people regarding the urban mobility in Kathmandu Valley is very bad. Perception of the people is gathered through the questionnaire from people of Kathmandu. Various indicators are grouped in six categories namely - environmental criteria, social/cultural sustainability, economic criteria, infrastructure/engineering/technological, institutional sustainability and good governance. Questionnaire survey was conducted to assess the people’s perception of three districts of Kathmandu Valley. This study deals the people’s perception. Finding of the study will be useful for developing the sustainability criteria for urban transportation and consider the various policy decision regarding the efficient mobility of Kathmandu Valley. Finding shows that mobility situation of Kathmandu Valley is not good and indicates the need of improvement.

There are many studies on communication, but existing studies have limitations. Above of all, communication satisfaction research is interested only in the linear effect of communication. Therefore, this study investigates the nonlinear effect of communication satisfaction in order to supplement the neglected part of existing studies. For this purpose, the types of communication were classified into supervisory communication and co-worker communication, and nonlinear effects between communication satisfaction and organizational commitment were verified. For the analysis 285 data were used, and all hypotheses were supported. Based on the analysis results, implications and limitations were discussed.

Jatropha curcas oil has been considered a promising alternative fuel for compressing ignition engines. However, its qualities and utilizations have been affected by so many factors such as extraction methods, temperatures, reactants, etc. As a result, this work was aimed at studying the effects of extraction methods and transesterification temperature on the qualities of biodiesel from jatropha oil seeds. Three methods of extraction (milling hydraulic, and defatting; milling, toasting, and defatting: and sand roasting, dehulling, milling and defatting) were employed to produce the three different samples A, B, and C respectively. The yields of the oils obtained were measured. Oil qualities of the oil like: specific gravity, viscosity, free fatty acid, saponification value, peroxide value, pH and iodine value content of the oil were determined. The extracted oils were subjected to transesterification process at a various temperature by treatment with ethanol using potassium hydroxide as catalyst. Average yield of biodiesel was 70.62 %, 74.33% and 79.41% of raw oil from sample A, B and C respectively. The specific gravity, viscosity, free fatty acid, saponification value, peroxide value, pH and iodine value content of the oil of sample were A (0.904, 3.240mm2/s, 0.431% ,64.80mg/kg, 2.00mg/kg, 7.38 and 140.61, respectively); sample B (0.903, 3.130mm2/s, 0.423%, 58.91mg/kg, 11.00mg/kg, 7.02 and 55.33, respectively); sample C (0.908, 3.324mm2/s, 0.368%, 52.73mg/kg, 2.00mg/kg, 8.50 and 143.65 respectively). The result revealed that different extraction methods and transesterification temperature have actually affected the quantity and quality of biodiesel produced from Jatropha oil seeds. Processing of the oil seeds by roasting dehulling, milling and defatting and transesterification at 700C gave the highest oil yield and the most acceptable chemical properties.

Accounting is a social structure and is shaped by the society in which it operates. The needs of the society are the most important factors that are affecting the development of accounting in a country. Although in todays open system societies, the changes in the accounting are inevitable, we must not forget that accounting is not only a practice but also a discipline that has a theoretical and historical background. The development of an accounting system and practices in a country reflects its economic development as well as the legislative process. Turkey could not be an exception. The economic development of the country has led the accounting practices to change from tax and state orientation to international harmonization. In this respect, this paper highlights the changes in Turkish accounting system from the theoretical and historical perspectives.

: The study focuses on electronic customer relationship management and consumer behavior with special emphasis on diamond bank Plc. Retail financial services in all markets, including emerging markets, are undergoing major transformation that is driven by change, deregulation and customer sophistication. Electronic Customer service and specifically online customer relationship management in particular is crucial to attaining a sustainable competitive advantage, in the market place. The main objective of the study is to examine the effect of electronic customer relationship management on customer patronage. A survey design was adopted for the study and one hundred and ninety copies of structured questionnaire were used as primary data collection instrument which was distributed to customers of diamond bank in the study area. However, the postulated hypotheses were tested by employing the Pearson product moment Correlation Coefficient (PPMCC) statistical tool which was facilitated by the statistical packages for social sciences (SPSS). The study however showed that a significant relationship exists between e-CRM and consumer behavior. Furthermore, it was found that amongst the dimensions of e-CRM, e-commitment and e-satisfaction impacts more significantly on customer patronage. The study therefore concludes that Nigerian money deposit banks should increase their electronic platform strategies since they commensurably impact on their level of customer patronage. However, the study recommended that the key to efficient performance of Nigeria banking industry is hinged on their ability to identify, attract, retain and develop their customers better than competitors and could be achieved by improved e-trust, e-commitment and e-satisfaction. Limitation and suggestion for further studies was given.
